In case of an emergency, the doctor responsible for the patient's care at the time of the emergency should arrange for quick and timely transfer of the patient to the hospital. Serious emergencies may require an ambulance. Should you want to know what would happen in the event of a medical emergency, talk with your clinic staff, they should have guidelines for emergency procedures.
