Information systems at NEPHROCARE offer solutions that collect and manage demographic and clinical data. These sophisticated systems provide the necessary information for continuous quality improvement. Individual clinics can benchmark clinical performance against regional and international standards, generate reports and closely monitor clinical-management decisions.
Quality Improvement Programs and Accreditation
Committed to ongoing performance improvement, NEPHROCARE takes into consideration both the needs of patients and hemodialysis providers. Quality improvement programs can be tailored to specific areas such as occupational health and safety, staff development and infection control. NEPHROCARE also offers access to accreditation expertise at both local and international levels. Recognized accreditation standards such as those provided by the International Standards Organization (ISO) can be applied to individual clinics. In addition, customized standards can be developed to meet the accreditation requirements of local or regional governments, or regulatory bodies.
Clinical research in dialysis is promoted and supported. This research may occur within individual units or in some instances be supported as a multi-centre project. Our partners can utilize research resources including a comprehensive library and a specialized medical & clinical team.
